From securing product approvals to creating and expanding sales opportunities, Brian Florey brings nearly 15 years of financial services experience to his role as Business Development Manager with Transamerica.
Brian believes in meeting obstacles head on with candor and professionalism. His role on the Business Development Team is to ensure the business relationships between distribution partners and Transamerica remain mutually beneficial. He achieves this through understanding and advocacy.
Brian attended Colorado State University Fort Collins, CO. He graduated with a degree in Political Science and minored in Economics. Straight out of college he spent three years as a financial representative with Northwestern Mutual. He joined Transamerica in 2008 as an internal wholesaler and was promoted to the Business Development team in 2012.
Brian lives in Englewood, Colorado with his wife, Jorie, their daughter, Meena, their two dogs, Gilligan and Betty, and their cat, Tiki. Brian leads the relationship between the Transamerica Foundation and Junior Achievement – Rocky Mountain, Inc., in Denver and is an active volunteer and contributor.
Brian enjoys racking up frequent flyer miles and hotel points, teaching Meena how to push her mother’s buttons, ignoring the Orange Theory app on his phone, as well as driving tours with the local sports car club.
